As devout Catholics, our faith directs us through all that we do in life. The seven principles of Catholic Social Teaching offer a guide for living morally in our world. Our project is rooted fundamentally in the CST Life and Dignity of the Human Person, which emphasizes that God created each person with inherent worth, dignity, and sacredness. To disrespect members of our community with special needs is to deny their dignity and perfection through God. Additionally, malice of any kind violates this CST because cruel words have the power to kill people's spirits and happiness, thus disrespecting the life of that person. Through our project, we hope to promote love and encourage everyone to be more mindful about the dignity of everyone around them!
