In this podcast, we interviewed Mrs. Clark, the director of volunteer engagement at 4 Paws for Ability. On top of training volunteers at 4 Paws, she also fosters service dogs herself. She shared with us that both of the dogs she has fostered have been placed with children in need of a service dog. One dog is in Canada working as a seizure alert dog, and the other in Kentucky working as an autism assistance dog. Pictured on the left are Mrs. Clark and her current foster dog that she is training.

One of our favorite parts of the interview was when Mrs. Clark shared a story that has stuck with her throughout her time at 4 Paws. 4 Paws placed a service dog with a severely autistic child and it completely changed his and his family's life for the better. She goes more in-depth about the specific impacts the dog made during our interview. In the interview, Mrs. Clark also highlights the rewarding aspects of working at 4 Paws, while also commenting on what she finds is most challenging. To learn more about what she loves most about her job, what 4 Paws' mission is, and what makes 4 Paws so special, check out our podcast!
